12 Weeks of Hybrid Theory

Students begin with a 12-week hybrid theory phase designed to build the foundational knowledge required for professional barbering. Coursework is completed online at the student’s pace, with in-person module exams, reviews, office hours, and instructor support.

Topics can include sanitation, infection control, anatomy, hair and scalp, haircutting theory, shaving, chemical services, professional practices, and state board preparation.

26 Weeks of Hands-On Training

After completing the hybrid phase, students transition into in-person practical training. This phase focuses on developing confidence and consistency through guided practice and real clinic-floor experience.

Students train in haircutting, clipper work, shear work, shaving, consultations, sanitation, client service, professional setup, and practical exam skills.

Your Weekly Schedule

During the 12-week hybrid theory phase, students complete coursework through Pivot Point LAB. Lessons and quizzes may be completed remotely, while module tests are scheduled and completed on campus.

After the hybrid phase, students transition into hands-on practical training. We offer three daily 4-hour blocks Monday through Friday, allowing students to choose a schedule that better fits work, family, and other responsibilities.

Morning: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Evening: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM

State Board & Licensure Preparation

Licensure preparation is built throughout the program, not saved for the final weeks. Students reinforce theory knowledge, practical procedures, sanitation standards, exam expectations, and test-taking strategies as they progress.

Career Preparation

Barber school should prepare students for more than an exam. Students are also introduced to client consultation, professionalism, customer service, personal branding, business fundamentals, pricing, retention, and the habits needed to operate successfully in the barber industry.
